Request for Alteration

Domestic

v      In case the house is under renovation / construction
   Ø       Pay only temporary disconnection and Line dismantling charges
   Ø       Alteration amount may be paid at a later date based on progress of renovation / construction
 
v      Alteration activity could be for
   Ø       Extension from existing line for geyser point in bathroom
   Ø       Extension from existing line for geyser point at terrace
   Ø       Extension from existing line for second kitchen point
   Ø       Line dismantling and re-fitting due to renovation in customers’ premises
   Ø       Shifting of line from one floor to another
   Ø       Transfer of line from one premises to the other (Documents required - Please refer description in address change request)
 
Customer to visit GGCL premises, explain requirement to the front desk executive and fill up the form and requisite amount
   
 
Commercial / Non-commercial
 
v      Alteration activity could be for
   Ø       Capacity enhancement (additional Points
   Ø       Renovation
v      Customer to give written intimation to GGCL with clear-cut requirements
v      Based on intimation, survey shall be carried out
v      Post-survey, intimation shall be given for payment of estimate amount
v      Estimate amount to be paid at GGCL premises
v      For transfer of connection cases, required documents are required to be submitted (Please refer description in address change request)

YHS

v      Any work to be done in downstream of meter, please contact Gujarat Gas Customer Care on 9924005000.
v      Any work to be done in upstream of meter, customer to put up a written request to GGCL which will then be taken up in line with the procedures for commercial alteration as stated above.

Request for Address Change
 
v      Address Change could be due to
   Ø       Transfer of connection from one premises to another (Subject to availability of gas network in the area where the customer wishes to get the line transferred)
   Ø       Change in name of premises where the connection is located
   Ø       Inadequate current address rendering it difficult to locate the premises for the purpose of meter reading, bill distribution, annual services or attending requests / complaints
v      Customer to visit GGCL premises, explain requirement to the customer care executive
v      Fill up the form and requisite amount along with following supporting documents

Domestic
 
 Ø       Identity proof of connection holder (License, PAN Card, Passport, Voter’s Card)
 Ø       Copy of the last paid Corporation / Municipality tax bill of the premises or Sale Deed for the premises where connection is installed (If sale deed is more than 4 yrs old, the same to be notarized) – as ownership proof

Commercial / Non-Commercial
 Ø       Identity proof of connection holder (License, PAN Card, Passport, Voter’s Card)
 Ø       Copy of the last paid Corporation / Municipality tax bill of the premises or Sale Deed for the premises where connection is installed (If sale deed is more than 4 yrs old, the same to be notarized) – as ownership proof
 Ø       Copy of “Gumastadhara”
 Ø       If premises located in residential area, NOC from President of the society

Request for Name Change
 
v      Name Change could be due to
   Ø       Spelling mistake
   Ø       Demise of connection holder
         Ø       Sale of property
   Ø       Any other reason
v      Customer to visit GGCL premises, explain requirement to the customer care executive
v      Fill up the form and requisite amount along with following supporting documents

Domestic
 
 Ø       Spelling mistake – Copy of contract form / Identity proof
 Ø       Demise of connection holder –copy of certified death certificate, NOC from other legal heirs, Copy of contract form, Identity proof of transferee, copy of last paid property tax bill, copy of sale deed (if more than 4 years old, the copy to be notarized)
 Ø       Sale of property – copy of last paid property tax bill, copy of sale deed (if more than 4 years old, the copy to be notarized), NOC of the transferor, Copy of contract form, Identity proof of transferee (License, PAN Card, passport, voter’s card)

 Commercial / Non-Commercial
 
Ø       Spelling mistake – Copy of contract form

Request for Disconnection

      Domestic / Commercial / Non-commercial
v      Temporary disconnection is helpful in cases where the customer intends for non-use of gas for a long period. In such cases, the customer can fill up the requisite form along with stipulated charges. The main advantages for opting for this facility are:
   Ø       The customer does not have to pay the minimum bill applicable during the period between disconnection and reconnection
   Ø       Since the premises are likely to be closed during the period, the safety of the connection in general and the property at large is enhanced


Request for Reconnection

      Domestic / Commercial / Non-commercial
v      No extra charge needs to be paid for reconnection. Upon receipt of intimation from thecustomer for reconnection, the same would be executed within a reasonable time frame
