NG Based Air Conditioning
Vapor Absorption chillers (VAC) provide cooling by using Natural Gas, Steam or Waste heat. These chillers operate on the same principle as conventional vapor compression chillers. Cooling is provided by evaporating a refrigerant. VAC uses heat rather than a compressor as their driving force. With few moving parts, the equipment requires little maintenance. Absorption chillers not only use less energy than conventional equipment, but they also avoid the usage of ozone-depleting Chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs).
