The best reward we have ever received as a company is the smile and relief on the faces of our customers who were caught in the Surat floods of 1998 and 2006. Almost the entire city was inundated with waters and citizens were caught in their homes and on the rooftops with nowhere to go. The only thing that helped them sail through this tough time was piped natural gas that Gujarat Gas was able to supply uninterrupted. The people could use the natural gas to heat water for drinking and cooking.
